Thomas Schlijper

Thomas Schlijper is a Dutch street photographer. Since 2005 he has published at least one photo every day on schlijper.nl — an unbroken daily record now running for more than two decades.

For the first fifteen years the project was an Amsterdam diary: canals, trams, markets, protests, weather, strangers. In recent years Thomas relocated to Tel Aviv, and the daily photo now alternates between Israeli street scenes and a still-growing Amsterdam archive. The site also hosts curated series on portraits, Tel Aviv Bauhaus architecture, animals, and more.
